The game had delivered everything you expect when these two teams meet.
Hard fought. Back and forth. Exciting. Dramatic. Down to the wire.
That’s what you get when North Carolina goes against Duke, but that’s usually on the hardcourt. This one was on the field at Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham. It gave all that you could want and then some.
Just 16 seconds remained when Tar Heel wide receiver Antoine Green hauled in the eight-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Drake Maye, apparently to win the game, 38-35. But, even that wasn’t sure.
Green’s foot had landed just inside the sideline, so razor-thin close that officials had to review the replay before confirming that the touchdown would stand.
That game-winning reception has been chosen as the U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish “Catch of the Week.”
For the game, Maye completed 28 of 38 passes for 380 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions.
Green caught four passes for 112 yards and the winning score.
And, talk about an even game! When it ended, both teams had gained exactly 537 yards total offense.
Remember … for the tailgate tent or the pre-game party, U. S. Farm-Raised Catfish is always “the winning catch.”
The Catfish Institute, or TCI, was formed in 1986 by catfish farmers and feed manufacturers to raise consumer awareness of the positive qualities of U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish. Since its formation, U.S. per capita consumption has more than doubled.
U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish is a sustainable and environmentally friendly seafood product. The National Audubon Society, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and Environmental Defense all recommend U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish as a safe environmental choice. To find out more, visit www.uscatfish.com.
