Colts owner Jim Irsay pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of Operating While Intoxicated in his scheduled court appearance in Noblesville, Ind., Tuesday.

Under terms of a one-year probation agreement, Irsay cannot drink for one year and must provide prescriptions for all medications. Police found oxycodone and hydrcodone and a large sum of cash in Irsay’s car when he was arrested in March.

He will be tested for drugs during probation.

Irsay was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, but that charge was dismissed.

Irsay awaits looming punishment from the NFL. Commissioner Roger Goodell said the NFL will be held to a higher standard when it comes to off-field conduct.

Goodell would not comment directly on Irsay’s legal matter, preferring to wait until Irsay had his day in court.
