Restricted free agents Justin Tucker and Will Hill signed their tenders with the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday.
Tucker, the team’s standout kicker, had been tendered at the second-round value, $2.36 million. Hill, a safety, was offered $1.54 million.
The deadline for restricted free agents to sign offer sheets with other teams is Friday. Several teams reportedly had been interested in Tucker — but not willing to surrender the second-round pick.
Tucker, who was an undrafted free agent in 2012, is the most accurate kicker in NFL history at 89.8 percent (97 of 108). That includes seven game-winning field goals and a franchise-record 61-yarder (against the Detroit Lions in 2013).
The Ravens tendered Hill despite a history of league-issued suspensions — 14 games in three seasons — and a bevy of legal issues mostly related to unpaid child support.
Hill sat out six games last season due to a positive test for marijuana and then finished the season as the Ravens’ starting free safety. He is expected to compete for the starting role at strong safety this year.
