Rangers sign RHP Rogers

The Texas Rangers signed right-hander Mark Rogers to a minor league contract, according to reports Sunday.

Rogers, 29, spent 2014 as a member of the Seattle Mariners, making two appearances in Triple-A Tacoma. He had a 1-0 record with a 3.86 ERA.

Rogers was the fifth overall pick of the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2004 draft. His last major league action came in 2012 with the Brewers. In 11 career games with the Brewers, Rogers was 3-1 with a 3.49 ERA over 49 innings.
