Pirates 2B Walker loses arbitration

Pittsburgh Pirates second baseman Neil Walker lost his arbitration case and will make $8 million in 2015, according to reports Saturday.

Walker, 29, filed for $9 million in arbitration, but was awarded the $8 million that the Pirates offered. He made $5.75 million in 2014.

In 2014, Walker hit .271 with 23 home runs and 76 RBIs.
