Media: Alabama to win SEC

Alabama is the preseason favorite again in the Southeastern Conference.

The Crimson Tide, the overwhelming favorite, received 154 points in the media poll released Thursday at SEC Media Days in Hoover, Ala. Auburn was second with 75 points and South Carolina received 32.

However, it was noted the media poll correctly predicted the conference champion just four times in the past 22 years. Auburn was picked last in the West division in July 2013 and went on to win the SEC title.
