PLAYERS TO WATCH

–QB Sam Hartman’s 223 passing yards at Louisville were fewer than his previous game (227 at Florida State), but he was much more efficient with two touchdown throws. The freshman also rushed for a touchdown as part of his 46 yards on the ground.

–WR Greg Dortch bounced back from a couple of rough outings by making eight catches for 135 yards at Louisville. The redshirt sophomore Dortch has 113 career catches in 16 career games. He didn’t play last year against Syracuse because he was out by then with a season-ending injury.

–RB Matt Colburn gained a career-high 243 rushing yards in the senior’s final game against Louisville last week. He did so with just 20 carries, while scoring a career-best three touchdowns. His previous high for rushing yards had come with 237 last year at Syracuse. He has eight career games with at least 100 rushing yards.

–DE Carlos Basham logged two tackles for losses in the Louisville game. But his most memorable play was a 23-yard return with a fumble recovery to score a touchdown. He was named the ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week.
