–In the game immediately after the bye, the Packers are 9-3 under head coach Mike McCarthy. “Just having that extra rest, getting a little bit of time away from it, that can do a lot for your team and good for your mental (approach),” receiver Davante Adams said. “I think coming off of this one, having some of the injuries we did, especially in the wideout room, getting those guys back, giving them a little bit extra time to rest is going to be key, especially because with G-Mo (Geronimo Allison) and (Randall) Cobb, it’s two guys that we definitely need moving forward to win these games.
–In Week 6, Aaron Rodgers had completions of 60 yards to receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling and 54 yards to tight end Jimmy Graham. Rodgers leads the NFL with six completions of 50-plus yards this season.
–Green Bay is 3-2-1 heading into the meat of its schedule: at the Rams and Patriots, home for the Dolphins, at the Seahawks and Vikings. “This is three division winners on the road and some tough tests for us,” Rodgers said. “This week, obviously, a really hot team and then going against Tom (Brady) and Bill (Belichick) and those guys, fantastic organization that’s obviously won a lot of championships, coming home and playing a tough Miami team, going on the road to one of the toughest places to play in the NFL and then obviously a big division rival game. It’s a tough stretch.”
–The Packers have allowed only 44 points in the second half this season, the second-fewest in the NFL. The Rams have allowed the third-fewest with 55.
–Green Bay’s home game against Miami on Nov. 11 was moved from a noon kickoff to 3:25 p.m.
BY THE NUMBERS: 10 — Consecutive road games with a touchdown reception by Packers receiver Davante Adams. That’s tied with Philadelphia Eagles great Tommy McDonald for the longest streak in NFL history. McDonald accomplished that feat from the 1959 through 1961 seasons.
