PLAYERS TO WATCH

–QB Tyler Huntley rushed for two touchdowns (24 and six yards), tying his career high rushing touchdowns in a game (North Dakota and West Virginia in 2017) in the loss at Washington State last week. He rushed for a season-high 88 yards on 17 carries. Huntley was 12-of-20 passing for 118 yards without a .touchdown or interception.

–RB Zack Moss had his second 100-yard rushing game of the season (seventh in his career) with 106 yards rushing on a career-high 30 carries against Washington State. Moss scored his team-leading fourth rushing touchdown of the season in the first quarter on a 6-yard run. He has scored a rushing touchdown in six straight games dating to last season.

–FS Corrion Ballard had his third career interception (first this season) in the first quarter, which led to a Utah touchdown against Washington State. He had three tackles and two pass breakups.

–P Mitch Wishnowsky dropped three of his six punts at or inside the 10-yard line (10, 10, 7) against Washington State, bringing him to five either at or inside the 10-yard line this season. Four of his punts were inside the 20-yard line.

SERIES HISTORY: Utah and Stanford are tied, 4-4. The Utes won the last meeting at Stanford in 2014 by a score of 20-17. Stanford’s 23-20 win last year at Salt Lake City snapped a three-game losing streak to the Utes. The last six meetings dating to 1989 have been decided by a touchdown or less.
