Brandon Scherff – Noteworthy – Injury
RG Brandon Scherff sustained a right knee injury in the Week 2 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He is wearing a brace and was limited at Thursday’s practice.

Paul Richardson – Noteworthy – Injury
WR Paul Richardson (shoulder) was limited at practice Thursday. He has yet to miss a game, but for weeks has practiced on-and-off with the injury.

Ryan Kerrigan – Noteworthy
OLB Ryan Kerrigan will start his 116th consecutive game. That is the longest active streak among all NFL linebackers. Kerrigan has never missed a start in his career.

Troy Apke – Noteworthy – Injury
S Troy Apke (hamstring) did not participate in practice on Thursday. He has yet to appear in a regular-season game.

Vernon Davis – Noteworthy
TE Vernon Davis has 552 career catches. He is 20 shy of No. 8 on the all-time list behind Jimmy Graham. One more touchdown catch will give Davis sole possession of seventh place all time among tight ends (61).
