NOV 12 SEC SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Braden Mann, P/KOS, Texas A&M …Punted four times for an average of 47.8 with a long of 63 yards with two killed inside the 20-yard line with no touchbacks…His 63-yard effort was the 13th punt of 60 yards or longer this season tying the NCAA record for 60-yard plus punts in a season by Ryan Plackemeier of Wake Forest in 2005…Of his seven kickoffs, only one was returned for 12 yards. – SEC Football
Trayveon Williams – Noteworthy
NOV 12 SEC CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Trayveon Williams, RB, Texas A&M: Rushed 31 times for a net of 228 for an average of 7.4 per carry with one 46-yard touchdown run…His fourth 200-yard game effort of his career ties the Aggies’ all-time leading rusher Darren Lewis (1987-90) who also had four 200-yard rushing games in his career. In the SEC in the past 15 years, LSU’s Leonard Fournette had five 200-yard games and Alabama’s Derrick Henry had four 200-yard games…Only Darren Lewis had two 200-yard rushing games in a single season and Williams has tied that mark. (240 vs. Northwestern State in 2018)…Williams now has 1,159 rushing yards this season, the 8th-best single season in Aggie history…Williams now has 3,014 career rushing yards, placing him in a tie for 5th on the A&M all-time list behind Darren Lewis (5,012), Curtis Dickey (3,703), Cyrus Gray (3,298), Greg Hill (3,262) and Rodney Thomas (3,014)…This marks the sixth game of the 2018 season for Williams to bypass 100 yards…The 31 carries is a career-high for the junior but the 228 net yards was 12 shy of his career best 240 against Northwestern State earlier this year. – SEC Football
