LB Emmanuel Smith was signed by the Buccaneers to the practice squad Tuesday (Dec. 11). He had been waived by the Falcons Sept. 1. Smith (6-2, 240) originally entered the league this past offseason as a college free agent with the Atlanta Falcons. Smith spent the offseason and preseason with Atlanta.
Kevin Minter – Important – Injury – Transaction
LB Kevin Minter was placed on reserve/injured by the Buccaneers Tuesday (Dec. 11). He will miss the remainder of the 2018 season. Minter (6-0, 246) played in five games for Tampa Bay this season, recording six tackles on defense, one sack and four special teams tackles.
Tanner Hudson – Noteworthy – Transaction
TE Tanner Hudson was signed by the Buccaneers Tuesday (Dec. 11) from the practice squad. Hudson (6-5, 239) originally entered the NFL as a college free agent with Tampa Bay this past offseason and has spent the regular season on the team’s practice squad.
