Bryce Love – Noteworthy
RB Bryce Love made his return against Oregon after missing the UC Davis game with an injury. Love has had more flashy games — he had 89 rushing yards and a touchdown — but Cardinal coach David Shaw reassured the public of Love’s special skills. “I tell you what, our running back is special. We didn’t play well enough up front, but if he gets enough opportunities, he’s going to make special plays,” Shaw said.
