Alfred Morris – Noteworthy
RB Alfred Morris got the bulk of the carries after Matt Breida went out, registering 18 carries for 61 yards and tied his career high with three catches for 30 yards.
C.J. Beathard – Noteworthy
QB C.J. Beathard established single-game career highs in completions. (34), attempts (54) and passing yards (349) while also matching his personal best with two touchdown passes. He also scored his first rushing touchdown of the season, a 1-yarder that was also the fourth rushing TD of his career.
Cassius Marsh – Noteworthy
DL Cassius Marsh notched his first sack of the year Sunday. He now has 7.0 sacks in his career.
Matt Breida – Noteworthy – Injury
RB Matt Breida had an MRI on Monday and the results were somewhat positive as he only has a mid-ankle sprain. The 49ers have not ruled out Breida for Monday night’s game yet. Breida had eight carries for 56 yards to go along with a 5-yard touchdown catch before getting injured.
Matt Breida – Noteworthy – Injury
RB Matt Breida will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of his ankle injury. Breida was injured on a run during the first quarter of Sunday’s 28-18 setback to the Arizona Cardinals. The 23-year-old attempted to cut to the left, stumbled and went to the ground, where he immediately clutched at his left ankle. Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reported that X-rays came back negative and that Breida suffered a mid-to-high ankle sprain. Maiocco noted that Breida could sit out additional time so that the injury will “not be something that bothers him throughout the rest of the season.”
Trent Taylor – Noteworthy
WR Trent Taylor registered a career-high seven catches for 61 yards and a score, his first TD reception of the season and third of his career.
