San Francisco 49ers player notes for Nov 3rd, 2018


Emmanuel Moseley – Noteworthy – Injury – Transaction
CB Emmanuel Moseley (dislocated shoulder) was placed on reserve/injured by the 49ers Saturday (Nov. 3). He is eligible to be designated for return and begin practicing after missing at least six weeks and can play after eight weeks. Moseley (5-11, 184) was promoted to the active roster on Thursday he registered one tackle on special teams in the team’s Week 9 game against the Oakland Raiders.

Raheem Mostert – Important – Injury – Transaction
RB Raheem Mostert (fractured forearm) was placed on reserve/injured by the 49ers Saturday (Nov. 3). He is eligible to be designated for return and begin practicing after missing at least six weeks and can play after eight weeks. Mostert (5-10, 197) appeared in each of the team’s first nine games of the season and registered 34 carries for 261 yards and one touchdown while adding six receptions for 25 yards. Mostert also led the team with seven tackles on special teams.

Tom Savage – Noteworthy – Transaction
QB Tom Savage was signed by the 49ers Saturday (Nov. 3). He had been waived by the 49ers Thursday. Savage (6-4, 230) was originally drafted by the Houston Texans in the fourth round (135th overall) of the 2014 draft. In four seasons with Houston (2014-17), he appeared in 13 games (nine starts) and completed 181 of 315 passing attempts for 2,000 yards and five touchdowns. He signed with the New Orleans Saints on March 16, 2018 and was released by the team on September 1, 2018. He was signed by the 49ers on October 16, waived by the team on October 20, re-signed by the team on October 22 and was waived on November 1.
