Purdue player notes for Mar 6th, 2019

David Blough – Noteworthy
If David Blough was nervous throwing passes before 36 NFL Scouts during the program’s annual Pro Day, the former Purdue quarterback didn’t show it. A week from Thursday, Blough’s nerves will probably surface. That’s a bigger day than what transpired Tuesday inside the Mollenkopf Athletic Center. “Getting married and looking forward to that,” Blough said. After the bench presses, vertical jumps, standing broad jumps and the 40-yard dashes were finished, 15 Boilermakers who recently completed their eligibility had a better understanding of what those scouts thought of their skills. “It’s a good chance for everybody to showcase what they can do,” Blough said. The Texas native wanted a perfect day throwing passes. It wasn’t perfect but only a handful hit the ground. “Showed what I could do. I showed my arm is plenty strong enough and I’m confident and in control of all situations,” Blough said. “Overall, a good day. Now, we hurry up and wait.” – Journal & Courier
