Ben Roethlisberger – Noteworthy
QB Ben Roethlisberger and linebacker Ryan Shazier were among the Steelers players and staff members in attendance at the joint funeral of brothers Cecil and David Rosenthal, who were killed in the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting in a Pittsburgh neighborhood last weekend. Michele Rosenthal, the sister of the two victims, previously was the Steelers’ community relations manager. More than 1,000 people poured into Rodef Shalom to mourn the two intellectually disabled brothers who were killed in the shooting. Eleven people died and several others were injured during the attack in the neighborhood of Squirrel Hill, which is a few miles from the Steelers’ practice facility.
Coty Sensabaugh – Noteworthy – Injury
CB Coty Sensabaugh, who injured a foot in last week’s game against the Browns, did not practice. Artie Burns, who did not play against the Browns, took reps with the starters.
Marcus Gilbert – Noteworthy
T Marcus Gilbert, who missed last week’s game against the Cleveland Browns with a knee injury, returned to practice Wednesday as a full participant.
