Carson Wentz – Important – Injury
QB Carson Wentz was ruled out for Sunday’s matchup at the Los Angeles Rams. The move was expected after Wentz was diagnosed with a fracture in his back and had been downgraded from questionable to doubtful on Friday. Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles will get the start Sunday for the Eagles (6-7), who are among three teams that trail Minnesota (6-6-1) for the sixth and final playoff spot in the NFC.
Jordan Mailata – Noteworthy – Injury – Transaction
T Jordan Mailata (back) was placed on reserve/injured by the Eagles Friday (December 14). He will miss the remainder of the 2018 season.
Kaleb Johnson – Noteworthy – Transaction
G Kaleb Johnson was signed by the Eagles to their practice squad Friday (December 14). He had been waived by the Vikings Sept. 1.
