Calvin Throckmorton – Noteworthy
Oregon starting offensive lineman Calvin Throckmorton will miss spring practice as he continues to recover from an ankle injury he suffered during the Redbox Bowl. Ducks coach Mario Cristobal said Throckmorton, who dislocated his ankle during the Dec. 31 bowl win over Michigan State, is “healing up really well,” but won’t take part in spring practice, which Oregon begins Saturday. “He’s way ahead of schedule,” Cristobal said of Throckmorton, who even walked over a mile to the football complex during last week’s snow storm. “He’s looking great, but he will not participate.” – The Oregonian
