SEPT 24 BIG 12 DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Kenneth Murray, LB, So., Oklahoma,…Murray registered a school-record 28 tackles (6 solo, 22 assists) in Oklahoma’s overtime victory over Army. Murray’s tackles are the most for an FBS player since the NCAA started tracking the stat in 2000. SEPT 24 WALTER CAMP NATIONAL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: KENNETH MURRAY, OKLAHOMA, Sophomore, Linebacker, Missouri City, TX/Elkins…Linebacker Kenneth Murray set a school single-game record with 28 tackles, including as fifth-ranked Oklahoma held off Army-West Point, 28-21, in overtime. Murray (6 solo, 22 assisted) led a Sooner defensive unit that played 44:41 as the Black Knights dominated the possession game (79 offensive plays).
