K/P Austin Seibert tied the NCAA record for both PATs made and attempted with his final extra point last week against Kansas State. Seibert is 11 points away from tying Oklahoma’s career scoring record set by Michael Hunnicutt. Seibert is currently No. 9 in NCAA career scoring among kickers.
Kennedy Brooks – Noteworthy
RB Kennedy Brooks, a redshirt freshman, has 454 yards on 38 carries this year to average 11.9 yards per carry. Oklahoma’s single-season yards-per-carry record among players with at least 400 yards is 9.5 by Leon Heath in 1949.
Kyler Murray – Noteworthy
QB Kyler Murray has thrown at least two touchdown passes in every game this season, and at least three in each of his last seven games. Murray has 17 touchdown passes over the last four games and leads the Big 12 in total offense per game by more than 90 yards over No. 2 Taylor Cornelius of Oklahoma State (392.0 to 301.2).
