James Cowser – Noteworthy – Transaction
LB James Cowser was signed by the Raiders to the practice squad Wednesday (Nov. 28). He had been released by the Raiders from the practice squad Nov. 13. Cowser was originally signed by the club as an undrafted free agent in 2016. Earlier this season, he was elevated to the active roster from the club’s practice squad but has not seen game action in 2018. Now in his third year, he has appeared in 22 contests, made 28 tackles (21), one sack, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
Johnny Holton – Noteworthy – Transaction
WR Johnny Holton was signed by the Raiders to their practice squad Wednesday (Nov. 28). He had been waived by the raiders Monday. Holton originally signed with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati following the conclusion of the 2016 draft. Holton spent the first 11 weeks of the 2018 campaign on the club’s practice squad before being elevated to the active roster and making his season debut in Week 12. Over his first three years, Holton has appeared in 32 games, making one start and totaling 11 receptions for 252 yards (22.9 avg.), adding three scores.
