Burton was signed by Atlanta as a college free agent following the 2017 Draft. He was listed as a wide receiver coming out of Kansas State and was switched to cornerback during the 2017 preseason. Burton spent the entire 2017 season on the Falcons practice squad. Burton played in one game for the Falcons this season.

CB Tarvarus McFadden was released from the practice squad by the Colts Tuesday (Sept. 25). McFadden, 6-2, 205 pounds, was signed to the Colts practice squad on September 11. He participated in the San Francisco 49ers’ 2018 offseason program and training camp before being waived during the cut to 53 on September 1. McFadden originally signed with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent on May 1, 2018. Collegiately, he started 26-of-33 career games at Florida State and compiled 54 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, 16 passes defensed and eight interceptions.
Will Holden – Noteworthy – Transaction
G Will Holden was released from the practice squad by the Colts Tuesday (Sept. 25). Holden, 6-7, 312 pounds, was signed to the Indianapolis practice squad on September 13. He participated in the Arizona Cardinals’ 2018 offseason program and training camp before being waived in the cut to 53 on September 1. As a rookie in 2017, Holden appeared in seven games (five starts) for the Cardinals. He earned starts at tight end (one), left guard (one) and left tackle (three). Holden was originally selected by Arizona in the fifth round (157th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft.
