Anthony Firkser – Noteworthy – Transaction
TE Anthony Firkser was placed on waivers by the Titans Monday (Sept. 17).

Blair Walsh – Noteworthy
Ks Blair Walsh and Cairo Santos were expected to work out for the Browns on Monday, one day after Zane Gonzalez misfired on two field goal attempts and two extra-point tries. Walsh made 21 of 29 field-goal attempts in 16 games last season with the Seattle Seahawks. The 28-year-old has drilled 154 of 187 attempts in 89 career games with the Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings, with whom he spent his first five NFL seasons.

Cairo Santos – Noteworthy
Ks Cairo Santos and Blair Walsh were expected to work out for the Browns on Monday, one day after Zane Gonzalez misfired on two field goal attempts and two extra-point tries. Santos, who was released by the New York Jets in August, was an undrafted free agent out of Tulane and began his career with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2014. He was released early last season by the Chiefs, kicked in two games for the Chicago Bears and placed on injured reserve because of a groin injury.

Cameron Batson – Noteworthy – Transaction
WR Cameron Batson was placed on waivers by the Titans Monday (Sept. 17).

Corey Coleman – Important – Transaction
WR Corey Coleman was placed on waivers by the Patriots Monday (Sept. 17) in response to the Patriots acquiring WR Josh Gordon in a trade with Cleveland.

Daniel Carlson – Important – Transaction
K Daniel Carlson was placed on waivers by the Vikings Monday (Sept. 17) after missing a 35-yard field Sunday that would have won the game over Green Bay in overtime. The game ended in a 29-29 ties.

Jehu Chesson – Noteworthy – Transaction
WR Jehu Chesson was placed on waivers by the Redskins Monday (Sept. 17).

Julian Williams – Noteworthy – Transaction
WR Julian Williams was released from the practice squad by the Falcons Monday (Sept. 17).

Landry Jones – Noteworthy
QB Landry Jones was among about 20 players the Cowboys brought in for a tryout on Monday.

Sam Ficken – Noteworthy
K Sam Ficken is expected to sign with the Los Angeles Rams, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported on Monday. Ficken made two of three field-goal attempts in two regular-season games in 2017 while replacing Zuerlein, who underwent season-ending back surgery. Ficken also drilled both field-goal attempts during Los Angeles’ playoff loss to the Atlanta Falcons. The 25-year-old Ficken converted all four field-goal attempts during this past preseason before being released by the team.

Tom Johnson – Noteworthy – Transaction
DT Tom Johnson had his contract terminated by the Seahawks Monday (Sept. 17).

Zane Gonzalez – Important – Transaction
K Zane Gonzalez was placed on waivers by the Browns Monday (Sept. 17) after missing two field goals and two extra points in Sunday’s 21-18 loss to New Orleans.
