Jeremy Maclin – Noteworthy – Injury
WR Jeremy Maclin, a free agent, will undergo a surgical procedure that will keep him from returning to the field this season, the NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported Saturday. The 30-year-old Maclin has been dealing with a hamstring. According to the report, the procedure will be to repair a hamstring/glute injury and will allow Maclin to be ready for the 2019 season. Maclin was released by the Baltimore Ravens in mid-March, a move that reportedly saved the team $5 million in salary cap space.

RB Joel Bouagnon was released from the practice squad by the Lions Saturday (Oct. 27).
Juston Burris – Noteworthy – Transaction
CB Juston Burris was placed on waivers by the Jets Saturday (Oct. 27).

C Kyle Friend was released from the practice squad by the Cardinals Friday (Oct. 26).

Matt McCrane – Noteworthy – Transaction
K Matt McCrane was signed by the Cardinals to their practice squad Friday (Oct. 26). He had been waived by the Raiders Tuesday. McCrane (5-10, 165) originally signed with the Cardinals as an undrafted rookie free agent in May out of Kansas State but was waived following the preseason on September 1. He signed with Oakland on September 26 and kicked in three games with the Raiders, converting five of nine field-goal attempts and all five extra points. McCrane was not added to the roster Saturday, so despite Phil Dawson listed on the injury report with a hip problem, he will kick Sunday against the 49ers.

TE Tyrone Swoopes was placed on waivers by the Seahawks Saturday (Oct. 27).
Will House – Noteworthy – Transaction
G Will House was released from the practice squad by the Colts Friday (Oct. 26). House, 6-3, 314 pounds, was signed to the Colts practice squad on October 24. He spent the first six weeks of this season on the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad. House participated in the Cardinals’ 2018 offseason program and training camp before being waived during cuts to 53 players on September 1. He was originally signed by Arizona as an undrafted free agent on April 30, 2018.
