New York Jets player notes for Oct 3rd, 2018

Charone Peake – Noteworthy – Injury
WR Charone Peake (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.

Marcus Maye – Noteworthy – Injury
FS Marcus Maye (ankle, foot) was limited at Wednesday’s practice.

Neal Sterling – Noteworthy – Injury
TE Neal Sterling (concussion) did not practice Wednesday.

Robby Anderson – Noteworthy
WR Robby Anderson will not be suspended after pleading no contest to a reckless driving charge, the league said Wednesday. He was, however, fined an undisclosed amount. Anderson was arrested twice in the span of nine months, accumulating 12 charges, including four felonies. All but the reckless driving charge, a misdemeanor, were dropped. The 25-year-old undrafted free agent out of Temple threatened to sexually assault a police officer’s wife after he was clocked going 105 mph.

“I’m thankful I didn’t have to miss time for my time,” Anderson said Wednesday.

Added head coach Todd Bowles: “I don’t know if it’s a relief or not, but we’re glad it happened (this way), so we don’t have to spend time working on other things. It was good for us.”

The third-year receiver has had a lackluster start to the season, with only eight catches for 108 yards and a touchdown with two lost fumbles in the first four games.
