New York Jets player notes for Oct 24th, 2018


Bilal Powell – Noteworthy – Injury – Transaction
RB Bilal Powell was placed on injured reserve with a neck injury, the team announced Wednesday. Powell sustained the injury during the second quarter of Sunday’s 37-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Isaiah Crowell will serve as the unquestioned starter for the Jets (3-4), who visit the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Powell and Crowell have split the carries this season, with the former receiving one less carry (80) for 343 yards. Powell also added 11 receptions, including a 28-yard touchdown catch against the Miami Dolphins in Week 2.

Ibraheim Campbell – Noteworthy – Transaction
S Ibraheim Campbell was signed by the Jets Wednesday (Oct. 24). He had been waived by the Cowboys Oct. 9.

Rontez Miles – Important – Injury – Transaction
S Rontez Miles was returned to practice by the Jets Wednesday (Oct. 24) and remains on reserve/physically unable to perform. He is eligible to practice for 21 days at which point the Jets can activate him, release him or keep him on reserve/PUP for the rest of the season.
