New York Jets player notes for Nov 21st, 2018

Brandon Copeland – Noteworthy – Injury
OLB Brandon Copeland missed practice with an elbow injury.

James Carpenter – Noteworthy – Injury
LG James Carpenter missed practice Wednesday due to a shoulder injury.

Marcus Maye – Noteworthy – Injury
S Marcus Maye did not practice Wednesday due to a shoulder/thumb injury.

Robby Anderson – Noteworthy – Injury
WR Robby Anderson sat out practice due to a nagging ankle injury Wednesday and since the Jets are returning from their bye week, it seems likely he may not play. Anderson sat out the loss against Buffalo with the same injury. As of Wednesday, head coach Todd Bowles said there was no thought of shutting Anderson down for the season.

Sam Darnold – Noteworthy – Injury
QB Sam Darnold (sprained right foot) did not practice Wednesday and may not play for the second straight game this week vs. New England. Darnold is out of the walking boot but was not able to practice though head coach Todd Bowles said Wednesday Darnold was getting better.

Sam Darnold – Noteworthy – Injury
QB Sam Darnold dressed for practice and stretched with his teammates on Wednesday, but did then did not take part in the workout because of a lingering right foot injury.
During the practice, he was limited to light throwing and jogging. Darnold, the No. 3 overall pick in this year’s draft out of USC, has not practiced or played since sustaining the injury in a Week 9 loss to the Miami Dolphins, missing a blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 10. Even though he shed the walking boot he was wearing during the Jets’ bye week, it is starting to seem unlikely that he will play on Sunday against the New England Patriots.
