Ufomba Kamalu – Noteworthy – Transaction
LB Ufomba Kamalu was signed by the Patriots to the practice squad Monday (Nov. 5). He had been released by the Cardinals from the practice squad Oct. 30. Kamalu, 26, originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Houston Texans out of Miami (Fla.) on May 6, 2016. The 6-foot-6, 295-pounder began his rookie season on Houston’s practice squad before being added to the 53-man roster on Nov. 26. Kamalu appeared in 13 games with three starts for the Texans from 2016-17 and registered 11 tackles and three sacks. He was released by the Texans prior to the start of the 2018 regular season and has since had a brief stint on the Arizona Cardinals practice squad.
