Adrian Martinez – Noteworthy
OCT 22 BIG TEN CO-FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: Adrian Martinez, Nebraska, Fr., QB, Fresno, Calif./Clovis West…Accounted for 401 yards of total offense in Nebraska’s victory over Minnesota, marking his third 400-yard effort of the season…Completed 25 of 29 passes for 276 yards and three touchdowns, with his 86.2 completion percentage setting a school record for single-game completion percentage with a minimum of 20 attempts and breaking a record that had stood for 44 years…Added a career-high 125 rushing yards, including one touchdown and a career-long 53-yard carry…Records his first Freshman of the Week award…Last Nebraska Freshman of the Week: Ben Stille (Oct. 2, 2017). – Big Ten Football

Dedrick Young II – Noteworthy
LB Dedrick Young, a senior from Arizona, had an interception to go along with seven tackles against Minnesota. Young has at least seven tackles in four of Nebraska’s seven games, proving to be one of the more consistent presences on the Cornhuskers defense. His interception was his first takeaway this season.

Maurice Washington – Noteworthy
RB Maurice Washington, a freshman from California, made a big splash against the Gophers by notching the first 100-yard rushing game of his career. Washington racked up 109 yards on 14 carries to go along with a touchdown. “When the ball gets kicked off he’s ready to play. I love guys like that,” coach Scott Frost said. “The best thing about Maurice is he loves football and you can see that in the way he plays.

Stanley Morgan Jr. – Noteworthy
WR Stanley Morgan, a 6-foot-1 senior, had his best game of the year against Minnesota. He had 10 catches for 163 yards and two touchdowns against the Gophers, leading the Cornhuskers’ receiving corps in receptions and yardage.
