Adam Thielen – Noteworthy
WR Adam Thielen had eight catches for 125 yards and a touchdown on Sunday night. It was Thielen’s ninth game of 100 yards receiving this season, establishing a new team record for a single season. Hall of Famer Randy Moss had eight games with at least 100 receiving twice with Minnesota.
Dalvin Cook – Noteworthy
RB Dalvin Cook’s 26-yard touchdown on a screen pass on Sunday night was the first touchdown of the season for the injury-riddled, second-year back. It was also his first receiving touchdown in 10 NFL games.
Kirk Cousins – Noteworthy
QB Kirk Cousins was 29-of-38 passing for 342 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday night’s game to set a season-high with a 129.5 quarterback rating. He had his fifth game with at least 300 yards passing, the most in a single season for Minnesota since Brett Favre had six such games in 2009. Cousins has 3,289 passing yards this season, the most for a Vikings’ player through the first 11 games of a season. He established team records for passing yards in a season (767) against Green Bay.
Stefon Diggs – Noteworthy
WR Stefon Diggs had eight catches for 77 yards and a touchdown on Sunday night. He now has 13 touchdowns in 17 games in the NFC North and six touchdowns in seven games against Green Bay. Per the website Pro Football Focus, Diggs hasn’t had a dropped pass all season. His 79 receptions are the most of any receiver without a drop, according to PFF.
Xavier Rhodes – Noteworthy – Injury
CB Xavier Rhodes’ hamstring injury is “very, very mild,” according to coach Mike Zimmer. It’s good news for Minnesota’s defense and its top cover cornerback but Rhodes’ status will need to be watched closely in the week ahead.
