Running backs Rodney Smith and Shannon Brooks, both of whom tore the anterior cruciate ligament in their knees last fall, continue to rehab and won’t see much of the practice field during spring drills, Fleck said. Since Smith was injured against Fresno State in in early September, his rehab is ahead Brooks, who was hurt against Indiana in late October. “There’s not a rush for that,” Fleck said. “They are very mature about how they’ve handed their treatment.” – Twin Cities Pioneer Press
