Brent Stockstill – Noteworthy
OCT 1 CONFERENCE USA CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Middle Tennessee graduate QB Brent Stockstill tallied 259 yards through the air on 27-of-40 passing against Florida Atlantic and tossed a touchdown pass for the 27th consecutive game, the second-longest streak in the nation behind Penn State’s Trace McSorley. Stockstill was MT’s leading rusher on the evening as well, carrying the ball 14 times for 56 yards to put him over 300 total yards against the Owls. Perhaps no play was bigger in the contest than Stockstill’s three-yard connection with WR Gatlin Casey for the game-winning two-point conversion to give FAU its first conference loss since November, 2016. – Conference USA Football
