SEPT 10 SEC OFFENSIVE LINEMAN OF THE WEEK: Jervontius “Bunchy” Stallings, OG, Kentucky…Graded at 91 percent, with nine knockdown blocks, in Kentucky’s 27-16 win at Florida…Had no missed assignments or penalties and did not allow a quarterback sack or pressure…Had 23 blocks at the point of attack as UK rushed for 303 yards, averaging 7.4 yards per attempt…On 3rd-and-1, with approximately 2:30 remaining and UK clinging to a 21-16 lead, Stallings pulled left and delivered a crushing block that sprang Benny Snell for a 20-yard gain. That enabled UK to run another couple of minutes off the clock, forcing Florida to take over its final possession with only 29 seconds remaining…UK had two players rush for 100 yards, second game in a row that has been accomplished; first time UK has done that in 39 years. – SEC Football

SEPT 10 SEC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Josh Allen, LB, Kentucky…Totaled five tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, one quarterback sack, one fumble caused, one pass breakup and one quarterback hurry…His QB sack on the game’s final play caused a fumble that UK returned for a touchdown, clinching the win for the Wildcats…Had a key pass breakup on a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter…Shared a tackle for loss in the first quarter that helped force a punt. – SEC Football

SEPT 24 SEC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Josh Allen, LB, Kentucky…Totaled six tackles, two tackles for loss, one quarterback sack, one pass breakup and one quarterback hurry in UK’s 28-7 win over Mississippi State…In the fourth quarter, with MSU moving to the UK 25-yard line and threatening to tie the game, he dominated the next series: first down, Allen four-yard tackle for loss; 2nd-and-14, Allen draws holding penalty on pass rush; 3rd-and-34, false start penalty in front of Allen before play begins…On MSU’s next possession, again with a chance to tie in the fourth quarter, he notched a six-yard quarterback sack, forcing a pass on the next play that UK intercepted…Had a QB hurry on third down in the first quarter, forcing a punt. In the third quarter, on third-and-two, he helped stop the ballcarrier for a one-yard gain, forcing a punt…UK limited MSU to 201 yards total offense, with MSU entering the game averaging 587 yards per game. – SEC Football
