Kansas City Chiefs player notes for Nov 11th, 2018

Patrick Mahomes – Noteworthy
QB Patrick Mahomes set a club record for passing touchdowns in a season in Sunday’s 26-14 victory over Arizona. Mahomes has 31 touchdown passes, eclipsing the record of 30 set by Len Dawson in 1964. “Listen, he’s had a heck of a year, he’s playing his heart out,” coach Andy Reid said. “I love the backside of that, the preparation and how he goes about his business there. Day in and day out, he comes out every day, he’s bringing energy, he makes sure he has his things in order when he does that.” The 31 touchdowns rank tied for fourth all-time through the first 10 games of the season. Aaron Rodgers also tossed 31 touchdowns in the first 10 games of the 2011 season. They trail Tom Brady (38 in 2007) and Peyton Manning (35, 2004; 34, 2013). Mahomes finished 21-of-28 passing for 249 yards, ending a streak of eight straight games with 300.

Tyreek Hill – Noteworthy
WR Tyreek Hill caught seven passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday’s 26-14 victory over Arizona. Hill celebrated one of his touchdowns by leaping into the camera bay in the stands behind the end zone, briefly taking control of the camera. He managed to capture the official throwing a flag on him for unsportsmanlike conduct. Hill called the celebration a spur of the moment idea.
