Damien Williams – Noteworthy – Transaction
RB Damien Williams was signed to a contract extension, the team announced Friday. The team did not reveal terms of the deal for Williams, but the Kansas City Star reported that it was a two-year contract worth a maximum of $8.1 million. Prior to Hunt’s dismissal, Williams had three carries for only one yard this season. In the four games since, he has rushed for 204 yards and three scores on 36 attempts while hauling in 19 receptions for two more touchdowns.
