Jordan Akins – Noteworthy
TE Jordan Akins is being utilized as a H-Back giving him some more work on the field. Akins usage was up this week and if they keep him in this role, it could mean more chances down the road.
Josh Keyes – Noteworthy – Transaction
LB Josh Keyes was signed by the Texans Monday (Oct. 22). He had been waived by the Redskins Sept. 11.
Keke Coutee – Noteworthy – Injury
WR Keke Coutee had a hamstring injury against the Jaguars and missed majority of the game. He has already been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Dolphins. Coutee mentioned the hamstring injury is not a serious as the one from the preseason.
Ryan Griffin – Noteworthy – Injury
TE Ryan Griffin came down with an illness late last week and caused him to miss the game. His status is up in the air heading into Thursday night.
Tyler Ervin – Noteworthy
RB Tyler Ervin filled in for Coutee after he was lost for the game with a hamstring injury. With Coutee ruled out, Ervin could be the short-term replacement at the slot position until further notice.
Tyrell Adams – Noteworthy – Injury – Transaction
LB Tyrell Adams was waived/injured by the Texans Monday (Oct. 22). He will be placed on reserve/injured if he clears waivers Tuesday.
