*Deshaun Watson – Noteworthy
QB Deshaun Watson was a full participant in practice after last week being limited all week with a chest injury. Watson will make his first start vs. Jacksonville on Sunday. He made his NFL debut in relief against the Jaguars in 2017.
Andre Hal – Important – Injury – Transaction
S Andre Hal was returned to practice by the Texans and remains on reserve/non-football illness. He is eligible to practice for 21 days at which point the Texans can activate him, release him or keep him on reserve/NFI for the rest of the season. Hal has been out of action due to battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma since training camp but now with it in remission, he is back practicing with the team.
“We activated the 21-day window on him, so he’ll be able to practice with the team,” head coach Bill O’Brien said Wednesday. “At any point in time over the 21-day window we can decide to activate him to the 53-man roster, so we’ll see where he’s at and go from there. That’s great news for Dre and for us.”
Josh Ferguson – Noteworthy – Transaction
RB Josh Ferguson was signed by the Texans to their practice squad Wednesday (Oct. 17). He had been waived from reserve/injured by the Colts Sept. 18.
Keke Coutee – Noteworthy – Injury
WR Keke Coutee is still dealing with a hamstring issue, the same one he has been working to get healthy since injuring it in the preseason. Coutee is expected to get the snaps this weekend from the slot position. He needs 10 receptions to tie Anquan Boldin (30) for the most receptions through a player’s first four career games since the AFL/NFL merger.
Will Fuller – Noteworthy – Injury
WR Will Fuller V was limited in practice due to falling on a camera in the back of the end zone. His hip hit hard on a camera left on the ground by a photographer on a deep pass that resulted in a pass interference.
Zach Fulton – Noteworthy – Injury
G Zach Fulton started the week not practicing due to an ankle injury. He has played every snap this season at right guard and his status will become clear as the weekend arrives.
