LB Brady Sheldon was signed by the Packers to the practice squad Tuesday (Nov. 6). He had been released by the Browns from the practice squad Oct. 30.
Geronimo Allison – Important – Injury – Transaction
WR Geronimo Allison was placed on on injured reserve by the Packers on Tuesday with a groin injury. He must sit out at least eight weeks and could return only in the postseason, if the Packers reach the playoffs.
Allison suffered the injury last Thursday in practice and did not play in Green Bay’s 31-17 loss to New England on Sunday night.
Allison played just five games, including four starts, this season, but he still ranks fourth on the team in receptions (20) and receiving yards (303) and had two touchdown catches.
