NOV 5 CONFERENCE USA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Florida Atlantic junior RB Devin Singletary averaged 6.8 yards per carry in Florida Atlantic’s 49-14 Shula Bowl XVII win at FIU on Saturday night, carrying the ball 27 times for 184 yards and three touchdowns. He helped to establish FAU’s 439 yard rushing attack in the first half with 18 carries for 97 yards, including two of his three scores. Singletary to put the finishing touches on his night with nine carries in the second half for 88 more yards, including his nation-leading 18th touchdown run of the season. His three scores on the evening give him 62 career rushing TDs, which ties him for ninth place on the NCAA’s all-time rushing touchdown list. This is Singletary’s fifth career C-USA Offensive Player of the Week award. – Conference USA Football
