Jerome Cunningham – Noteworthy – Transaction
TE Jerome Cunningham was signed by the Lions to their practice squad Wednesday (Sept. 26). He had been released by the Titans from the practice squad Sept. 18. Cunningham comes to Detroit after most recently spending time on the Tennessee Titans’ practice squad during the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Prior to Tennessee, his career included stints with the New York Jets (2016) and the New York Giants (2015). During the 2015 season, Cunningham appeared in nine games (three starts) with the Giants and recorded eight catches for 59 yards. He originally entered the NFL in 2015 as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Giants out of Southern Connecticut State.
