Hakeem Valles – Noteworthy – Transaction
TE Hakeem Valles was signed by the Lions to their practice squad Tuesday (Oct. 9). He had been waived by the Lions Saturday. Valles, 6-3, 250, returns to Detroit after spending the majority of the 2017 season on the team’s practice squad before appearing in three games for the Lions in 2018. He originally entered the NFL in 2016 with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Monmouth. Valles’ career totals include 15 games (one start), two receptions and 11 receiving yards.
