Haloti Ngata – Noteworthy – Injury
DT Haloti Ngata returned to practice this week, though he was limited, after missing the last three games with a calf injury.
His return would be a welcome sight on many levels, since Fletcher Cox has been playing more snaps than coordinator Jim Schwartz would like and Ngata would give the Eagles a veteran presence up front.
Joel Bouagnon – Noteworthy – Transaction
RB Joel Bouagnon was signed by the Lions to the practice squad Wednesday (Oct. 24). He had been released by the Packers from the practice squad Oct. 9. Bouagnon comes to Detroit after most recently spending time on the Green Bay Packers’ practice squad this season. He originally entered the League with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Illinois in 2017.
Jarrad Davis – Noteworthy – Injury
LB Jarrad Davis missed practice Wednesday with a calf injury he suffered against the Dolphins. Davis is coming off his best game of the season, when he had seven tackles and one sack.
Kenny Golladay – Noteworthy
WR Kenny Golladay has had a touchdown called back by penalty in each of the Lions’ last two games. He had a 45-yard score called back in a Week 5 win over the Green Bay Packers and a 13-yard touchdown nullified last week, both by hands-to-the-face penalties on rookie guard Frank Ragnow. For the season, Golladay has 29 catches for 465 yards and three touchdowns.
Theo Riddick – Noteworthy – Injury
RB Theo Riddick could miss his second straight game with a knee injury after sitting out practice Wednesday. With Riddick out, Kerryon Johnson saw an increase in playing time against the Dolphins and would be in line for more work in the Lions’ third-down and two-minute packages.
