LB Garret Dooley was signed by the Lions to the practice squad Monday (Oct. 15). He had been released by the Vikings from the practice squad Oct. 1.
Jamal Agnew – Noteworthy – Injury – Transaction
CB Jamal Agnew (knee) was placed on reserve/injured by the Lions Monday (Oct. 15). He is eligible to be designated for return and begin practicing after missing at least six weeks and can play after eight weeks.
Trevor Bates – Noteworthy – Transaction
LB Trevor Bates was signed by the Lions from their practice squad Monday (Oct. 15). Bates originally joined the Lions during the 2018 offseason before being signed to the practice squad in September. His previous experience includes stints with the New York Giants (2017), New England Patriots (2016-17) and Indianapolis Colts (2016). After originally entering the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Colts in 2016 out of Maine, he appeared in one game as a rookie.
