Brandon Reilly – Noteworthy – Transaction
WR Brandon Reilly was signed by the Lions to their practice squad Tuesday (Dec. 18). He had been waived by the Lions Sept. 1. Reilly joins the Lions after most recently spending the offseason program and preseason with the Buffalo Bills. Originally signing with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska in 2017, Reilly split his rookie season between the team’s practice squad and active roster.
Da’Shawn Hand – Noteworthy – Injury – Transaction
DL Da’Shawn Hand (knee) was placed on reserve/injured by the Lions Tuesday (Dec. 18). He will miss the remainder of the 2018 season.
John Atkins – Noteworthy – Transaction
DT John Atkins was signed by the Lions from their practice squad Tuesday (Dec. 18). Atkins joins the active roster after spending a portion of this season on the team’s practice squad. Currently in his rookie season, Atkins originally entered the NFL with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia.
