Cyrus Kouandjio – Noteworthy – Transaction
T Cyrus Kouandjio was signed by the Broncos Tuesday (Nov. 20). His contract had been terminated by the Broncos Sept. 1. Kouandjio (6-7, 325 pounds) is a fifth-year player who has appeared in 28 games (8 starts) with Buffalo (2014-16) and Denver (2017). Selected by the Bills in the second round (44th overall) in the 2014 draft from the University of Alabama, Kouandjio competed in training camp with the Broncos in 2018 before being released at roster cut downs. He saw action in three games last season for Denver and started the team’s regular-season finale at right tackle. While appearing in 12 games (5 starts at left tackle) for the Bills in 2016, Kouandjio helped pave the way for an offense that finished first in the NFL in rushing yards (2,630) and rushing touchdowns (29).
