Jamar Taylor – Noteworthy – Transaction
CB Jamar Taylor was signed by the Broncos Tuesday (Dec. 4). He had been waived by the Browns Nov. 20. Taylor (5-11, 192 pounds) is a sixth-year cornerback from Boise State University who has appeared in 74 career games (41 starts) with Arizona (2018), Cleveland (2016-17) and Miami (2013-15). He recorded 17 tackles (15 solo) and one pass defensed in 10 games (three starts) with the Cardinals this season after being acquired from Cleveland in an offseason trade.
Selected by Miami in the second round (54th overall) of the 2013 draft, Taylor has totaled 214 tackles (173 solo), 0.5 sacks, three interceptions (43 yards), 28 passes defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery during his career. He was traded from Miami to Cleveland during the 2016 draft and started 29-of-31 games played with the Browns.
