Dallas Cowboys player notes for Dec 17th, 2018

Amari Cooper – Noteworthy
WR Amari Cooper, one week removed from 10 receptions for 219 yards and three scores, was limited to four catches for 32 yards on Sunday in the Cowboys’ 23-0 loss to the Colts. His longest reception was 11 yards. “It’s never a good feeling,” Cooper said.

Ezekiel Elliott – Noteworthy
RB Ezekiel Elliott, the NFL’s leading rusher who entered Sunday with 1,262 yards, finished with 87 yards on 18 carries and added seven receptions for 41 yards. “That was just a very embarrassing performance by us,” he said of the Cowboys’ 23-0 loss to the Colts in Indianapolis. “In all phases of the game, we got beat.”

Zack Martin – Important – Injury
G Zack Martin has been ruled inactive for Sunday’s game against the host Indianapolis Colts. Martin is not accustomed to sitting out a contest, as the four-time Pro Bowl selection has not missed a game at any level — including high school (Bishop Chatard High School) and college (Notre Dame). Rookie Connor Williams will be inserted into the lineup in place of the 28-year-old Indianapolis native, who is dealing with a sprained MCL in his left knee.
