Darrian Beavers – Noteworthy
UConn defensive end Darrian Beavers, who led the Huskies in sacks during the 2018 season, will transfer to Cincinnati, an athletic department spokesperson confirmed Wednesday. Beavers is originally from the Cincinnati area and played high-school football just outside the city. After arriving at UConn in 2017, Beavers tallied three sacks as a freshman linebacker, then four more during a sophomore season that saw him slide from linebacker to defensive end.
