A.J. Green – Important – Injury
WR A.J. Green is scheduled to meet with Dr. Robert Anderson this week to diagnose his foot injury and determine if surgery is needed, multiple media outlets reported. Green is expected to miss some games and is trying to avoid surgery unless absolutely necessary, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter. A seven-time Pro Bowl selection, Green was seen wearing a protective walking boot on his right foot at the Bengals practice facility on Tuesday. The Cincinnati Enquirer said he was not “out of the woods” because there was swelling in the foot after he was injured late in Sunday’s 37-34 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
